బతుకు.. బతికించు!
యుగయుగాల జీవన సారం ఇదే!
ఆత్మాహుతి వీర లక్షణం కాదు: విశ్లేషకులు
అప్పులు, కుటుంబ కలహాలు, ప్రేమలో విఫలం... 
ఇలాంటి చిన్న చిన్న కారణాలవల్ల ఆత్మహత్య చేసుకోవడం ఎన్నాళ్లుగానో ఉన్నదే! ఇప్పుడు... మన రాష్ట్రంలో సామాజికపరమైన అంశాలకోసం మరణించే వారి సంఖ్య బాగా పెరుగుతోంది. నమ్మిన సిద్ధాంతం కోసమో, తాము అభిమానించే వ్యక్తికోసమో 
మరణిస్తున్న వారు ఎక్కువయ్యారు. "ఎంచుకున్న మార్గాన్ని వీడకుండా... 
మరణానికి కూడా సిద్ధపడటాన్ని వీర లక్షణంగా అభివర్ణిస్తున్నారు. ప్రస్తుతం 
తమ జీవితానికి అర్థం లేదని, ఆత్మహత్మకు పాల్పడితే ఒక అర్థం వస్తుందని 
కొందరు భావిస్తారు. ఇది నిజం కాదనే విషయం వారికి తెలియ చెప్పాలి'' అని మనో 
విజ్ఞాన విశ్లేషకులు సుధీర్ కాకర్ పేర్కొన్నారు. 

తెలంగాణకోసం...
బలిదానాలు చేసుకునే వారిలో యువతే ఎక్కువ! ఇలా పోరుబాట వీడి... చావుబాట 
వెతుక్కునే వారిపై కుటుంబ సభ్యులు, బంధువులు, మిత్రులు ఒక కన్నేసి ఉంచాలి. 
బలిదానాలు చేసుకున్న వారి నేపథ్యాన్ని గమనిస్తే... వారంతా అంతకుముందు 
ఉద్యమంలో చురుకుగా పాల్గొన్న వారే. 'ఛీ... ఇక లాభం లేదు' అంటూ చూచాయగానైనా
మరణం బలిదానాల గురించి ప్రస్తావించి ఉంటారు. ఇలాంటి వ్యాఖ్యలను కుటుంబ 
సభ్యులు, మిత్రులు ఎంతమాత్రం తేలిగ్గా తీసుకోరాదని ఆత్మహత్యల నివారణకు 
పనిచేసే కెవిన్ కరూసో (సూసైడ్ డాట్ ఆర్గ్) అనే మానసిక విశ్లేషకుడు 
పేర్కొన్నారు. ఆ ఆలోచనను మొగ్గలోనే తుంచి వేయాలని చెప్పారు. 

తొలుత
ఆ వ్యక్తి మనసును విప్పించాలి. అతను చెప్పేది సానుకూలంగా వింటూనే... 
'చనిపోతావా? నువ్వు చనిపోతే నిన్ను ప్రేమించే మేం ఏమైపోతాం? చనిపోతే ఏం 
జరుగుతుంది? సమస్య పరిష్కారమవుతుందా? గతంలో ఎందరో ఆత్మాహుతి చేసుకున్నారు! 
మరి... వారందరి బలిదానంవల్ల ఏం ఒరిగింది? మనం ఉండి పోరాడాలి తప్ప... పోతే 
ఏమీ కాదు!'' అని మనసు మార్చేందుకు ప్రయత్నించాలి. వీరిని మానసిక విశ్లేషకుల
వద్ద కౌన్సెలింగ్ చేయించాలి. చనిపోవాలనుకునే ముందు ఒక్క క్షణం 
ఆలోచించినా... దాని జోలికి వెళ్లరు. హాలీవుడ్ నటి, ఆస్కార్ అవార్డుల విజేత 
హాలెబెర్రీ ఒకదశలో వ్యక్తిగత సమస్యలతో కుంగిపోయింది. 

ఆత్మహత్య
చేసుకునేందుకు సిద్ధమైంది. చివరి క్షణంలో... ఆమెకు అమ్మ గుర్తుకు 
వచ్చింది. 'నా శవాన్ని మా అమ్మ చూస్తే... ఆమె ఎంత ఆవేదనకు గురవుతుందో!' అని
ప్రశ్నించుకుంది. అంతే... ఆత్మహత్య ఆలోచనను విరమించుకుంది. ఆత్మహత్య 
చేసుకోవాలనుకునే ప్రతి ఒక్కరికీ తల్లిదండ్రులు, భార్య, పిల్లలు... ఒక 
కుటుంబం ఉంటుంది. వీరిలో ఏ ఒక్కరి ముఖాన్ని గుర్తుకు తెచ్చుకున్నా... 
ఆత్మహత్య చేసుకోరు! పైగా... ఆత్మహత్య అనేది సమస్య నుంచి పారిపోవడమే తప్ప, 
పరిష్కారం కాదు. అదీకాక... సామాజిక అంశాలపై ఆత్మహత్య చేసుకోవడం వల్ల కలిగే 
ఫలితం శూన్యం! ఈ విషయాన్ని మనసుకు హత్తుకునేలా చెబితే... ఏ ఒక్కరూ తమను 
తాము చంపుకోరేమో! 

ఇవీ లక్షణాలు...
ఆత్మహత్య
ఆలోచన చేసుకునేవారిలో కొన్ని ముందస్తు లక్షణాలు కనిపిస్తాయి. అవి... తీవ్ర
ఆందోళన లేదా నిస్పృహ, తనకు ఎంతో ఇష్టమైన అంశాలపైనా అనాసక్తి 
ప్రదర్శించడం, నిస్సహాయత ప్రదర్శించడం, పదేపదే వ్యతిరేక భావనలు (ఇక 
లాభంలేదు, ఇక ఏమీ జరగదు.. ఇలా) వ్యక్తం చేయడం.
